Rope lights can be used for so many purposes, they are a must have in every home.

You can either opt for traditional rope lights or LED rope lights – both are a good option and they come in a large variety of styles and prices so you can relax in the knowledge that you are guaranteed to find rope lights to fit your budget.

If you are opting for a feminine looking room, for example a pink themed bedroom, this would be ideal for pink coloured rope lights. Just imagine the scene, white walls, with pink curtains and bedding and a large canopy bed in the centre with rope lights entwined around the canopy bed frame. If the rope lights are going to be switched on for large amounts of time you would be better using LED rope light as they will emit less heat than traditional rope lighting.

LED rope lights are popular within modern bathroom designs. You must ensure that you choose lighting that conforms to the relevant regulation e.g. IP44 rating means that lighting is safe within certain sections of a bathroom.
